June is Bike Month and Ritchie is Challenging Allendale Residents!

Ritchie Community League is once again challenging all leagues to a June Bike Challenge! The inter-league challenge is simple:  ride the most kilometres in the month of June! Results will be reported in two ways: total distance travelled per league AND distance travelled per resident in the league area (based on recent city census results).

All Allendale residents are invited to track their cycling and pool their kilometres with their neighbours on the Strava App. Download the Strava App to your mobile device and search for the club “Team Allendale” or use your computer to join at https://www.strava.com/clubs/Allendalebike. If you don’t have access to Strava, no problem. Submit your total distance (in kilometres) for the week by Sunday at noon to Jeff Papineau, our League Representative: bikeallendale@gmail.com.

Keep in mind… If you take your family out for a ride, your children’s distance counts as well! So if your family of four takes a four kilometre spin, you can report 16 km total!  The results will be updated weekly and available on the Ritchie website (https://www.ritchie-league.com/bike-results).

Let’s get moving Allendale!
