“What is an AGM?”
An AGM is a yearly meeting between organizations and their shareholders. That means the Allendale Community League and our community members!
“What should I expect at the meeting?”
Well, snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages for one! There may also be a short presentation on in-progress projects at the League. The main event is the election of Board Members. Our current Board Members serve a 1-year term, and therefore need to be re-elected every year. Some of our board members are interested in retiring and we have some vacancies. If you are interested in throwing your hat into the ring, we’d love to see you at the event! A brief description of board positions can be found here.
